Tea and Chat – October 9 at 2.30pm in the Chapel

About 25 people attended a special TEA AND TALK afternoon on Wednesday October 9th  2.30 pm at the Chapel to hear Robert talk about his 640 mile Bike Ride on behalf of the Methodist Charity, Leaders of Worship and Preachers’ Homes.

Footwise’ is proving very popular…

Tigger goes to FootWise!

Like others, Tigger has discovered a new facility at the Chapel. He met a very nice lady, Camellia Dighe, who gave his paws the once over – he highly recommends the care and attention he received.

Camellia Dighe, a Foot Health Care Practitioner, is available to see to your ‘feet needs’ on Mondays and Wednesdays in the School Room Clinic at the Chapel. On her list of treatments are Nail Trimming, Thick Nail Reduction, Ingrown Nails, Hard Skin Removal, Cracked Heels, Corn Removal, Diabetic Foot Care.

If you don’t already have someone looking after your feet, why not give a go! Camellia can be contacted to book an appointment at the Chapel, or for a home visit, in the following ways:

Call: 01359 230428 or 07799 664684 or e-mail: FootWise@Protonmail.com

Looking Forward

Can you share our space?

Are you an artist or potter or craftsperson of any kind, looking for studio/workspace?

Are you a teacher/tutor in any field, wanting a venue in the community where you can offer classes to children, young people or adults?

Are you someone hoping to start a new project, for which you need a facility?

Are you……..?

If you might be interested in taking up the offer of ‘a shared space’, please let us know.

Unfortunately the long-term future of our Chapel may not be viable unless we can find a new role for it in our Ixworth Community. We are working hard to find that role and we need your support. We want to avoid closure: that would be a great loss after so many years – the building was opened in 1888 and will celebrate its 140th birthday in 2028.

We look forward to hearing from you,

The Minister, Rev Jason Vinyard, and community of Ixworth Methodist Chapel
