On June 25^th 2022 we celebrated the life of our dear friend, Doris Mizen, nearly 18 months after her death during lockdown. The family thus fulfilled her wish that her service should be at the Methodist Chapel in Ixworth.

It was a lovely occasion, with the Chapel full of Doris’ family and friends. Several generations of the family were represented. We shared the highlights of her life and remembered the difficult times, as well as the good times. She will live on in our hearts as a wonderful lady, a devout Christian who was always at worship on Sundays.  and supported the Chapel her whole life long. Refreshments were served after the service, including apple pies in memory of Doris, who made the most amazing apple pies for the chapel and the family
